About Pat

Brief Real Estate History

I have been a Realtor since 1995. I began my real estate career in Laguna Niguel, California. My license affords me the privilege of selling real estate throughout California. I have chosen Orange County because I have lived and raised a family in the County of Orange.

I have sold homes from Anaheim to San Clemente. I have sold low-end condos to high-end estates and everything in between. My favorite area to service is South Orange County. As you have seen on this website I have highlighted my seven South Orange County special cities.

My buyers and sellers are always impressed with my knowledge of the market and the communities that I serve. They appreciate my attention to details either in their home-for-sale or their home-to-be, or both. My negotiation skills are excellent and my communication skills are equally as good.

Personal Information And Work History

I was born in El Monte California and raised in the San Gabriel Valley. At 22 years old I was married and had four sons. Eight years later I became an unwed mother. After the breakup I began college and graduated with honors obtaining a degree in Business Administration/ Accounting. I remarried a man with two boys. My first and only employer after I graduated was with the County of Orange government working over 22 years in three different departments. I retired in 1995 when the Board of Supervisors forced those of us that were Tier 1 employees, to retire with a threat of taking our savings (there were no County funds in the savings) to help reduce the County’s bankruptcy obligation.

Employed by the County Of Orange

My first position in the County was in the Auditor-Controller Department. My second position was in the Health Care Agency. My last position, and the most exciting and challenging, was with the Sheriff-Coroner. I retired as second in command of Financial Administration.

Complete Real Estate History

Immediately after I left the County I took real estate classes through First Team Real Estate and obtained my Real Estate License. I worked for a short time for First Team and quickly found that we were not a match. I relocated to Grubb and Ellis where I stayed for 13 years, as their name kept changing due to new ownership until it ended up Prudential California Realty. In 2010 I moved to Evergreen Realty and Associates.

During my years as a Realtor I have sharpened my skills in marketing properties; negotiating purchases and resolving complex problems. My communication skills with buyers and sellers; other realtors and our many affiliates (lenders, escrow companies, title companies) are excellent. My second career is very different from my first and yet it isn’t. Both careers specialize in serving others and making their lives better. The unique thing about real estate is when I have found that special home for someone or helped a person sell their home there is a bond that is forever as well as a friendship that also lasts forever. It is a very rewarding profession.

Interests, Hobbies, and Favorite Activities

Since I raised many sons, one of my obvious hobbies is cooking; I am especially fond of making desserts. We have every holiday at our home and many birthdays for our sons, daughter-in-laws and grandchildren. We have 12 grandchildren ranging from pre-school to over 30 years old. All five sons, I lost one son when he was 33 years old, live in California. Other interests include gardening, travel and being an active member of the Riviera Club, a social women’s club.
